Reduced Tuition for Military and Veterans
Active duty military and veterans may be eligible to receive a 25% to 100% reduction in tution costs from Davenport University. Davenport defines 'active duty' as serving at least one day per month. To ensure military related individuals receive the benefits they deserve, re-verification is conducted annually.

Credit for Military and Job Specific Courses, Training or Experience
Davenport is member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium dedicated to helping servicemembers and their families get college degrees. As a service member, you’ve taken military and job specific courses that are worth college credit. By accessing your coursework certificates or transcripts, you will be able to apply credits that you’ve earned toward your degree.

If You Used Your VA Benefits at Another Institution:
Go to the Education Forms page on the VA website:
- Select form 22-1995, Request For Change of Program or Place of Training (3 pages)
- Complete form 22-1995 and fax to (616) 732-1150. NOTE: You must list the Davenport University address below as your new school (9A):

- You will receive a Letter of Eligibility from the Veterans Administration
- Davenport University Certifying Officials will certify your enrollment one month before the start of the semester. Certifications consist of the number of credit hours in which the student is currently enrolled by start and end dates of each session and semester.
- You must verify your enrollment once a month via the Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (WAVE) on the VA website.
- The VA will direct-deposit your check or mail it to you.
- It is your responsibility to make any additional payment arrangements on your tuition bill.
